Special Events

Special Events enhance our curriculum at Children's Choice.

• The Community Helpers program enables the children to develop an association with valued people in our community. Firefighters, Police Officers, Postal Workers, Dentists, Doctors and other professionals share their job experience with the children. Parents are also encouraged to participate.

• Our curriculum portrays the multi-ethnicity of American life. Children are given the opportunity to appreciate and celebrate a variety of cultures and customs through holiday celebrations.

• Parent Workshops are offered throughout the year. Guest speakers are invited to share their knowledge on subjects concerning childrearing, child growth, and education.

• Families are invited to our Back to School Night where they have the opportunity to meet teachers and staff; learn about the curriculum, and tour the center.

   

• During the year, Trips are planned for children to enhance curriculum. A variety of entertaining and cultural trips are planned for children in and around East Brunswick. We welcome parents and guardians to accompany their children on trips such as the circus, ice show, or theatre.
